is a board-certified general and vascular surgeon who specialized in phlebology, the diagnosis and treatment of venous disorders. Bringing his extensive experience to the Denver area, he established the Vein and Laser Surgery Center in central New York. It became the leading  referral practice with thousands of patients treated.
Dr. Agostini earned his medical degree from the University of Buenos Aires, Argentina, graduating with the highest academic honors. His surgical residency was completed at the Washington Hospital Center, affiliated with George Washington University in Washington, D.C.
A Diplomate of the American Board of Surgery, Dr. Agostini is also a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He has served as an active member of the applicant section committee of American College of Surgeons, Upstate New York Chapter.
Dr. Agostini served as Chairman of the Department of Surgery at Cayuga Medical Center, specializing in general, vascular and thoracic surgery and as Medical Director of CMC's vascular laboratory. Additionally, he was a consulting surgeon for the Gannett Clinic at Cornell University. He lectured medical students and trained physicians and nurses in endovenous laser treatment and sclerotherapy. He has published articles on circulation and vascular surgery.
Dr. Agostini has participated in the establishment of phlebology as a medical specialty in the United States, improving the care of patients with venous conditions.
